Food for Thought at Charlotte's Quay

05/05/2024 - 18:00 - 22:00

Food for Thought Founder, Chef Daniel Hannigan has announced details of the latest Food for Thought pop-up to take place on Sunday 5th May at Dublin’s Charlotte Quay restaurant in aid of 3Ts.  Tickets go on sale on Friday 19 April next on Eventbrite.  But a word of warning, this fine-dining pop-up dinner sells out in minutes and we expect this to be no different given the strong line-up of some of Ireland’s best known and loved Chefs.

We're thrilled here at 3Ts to be Food for Thought's chosen charity.  We've been collaborating with Dan since 2017 on these events - even during lockdown - and are honestly in awe at this year's line up of top chefs who will be cooking alongside Dan on the night.

  • Eric Matthews from Kicky’s
  • Robbie McCauley from Homestead Cottage
  • Aisling Moore from Goldie
  • Danny Africano from Lignum
  • Andrew Ryan from Ashford Castle.
  • And not forgetting Food for Thought Founder Daniel Hannigan, Orwell Road (also Row Wines & Charlotte Quay)

Food for Thought events are unique, giving top Irish Chefs a platform to showcase their talents, to raise awareness of Suicide Prevention in Ireland and to raise funds for 3ts.  Operating on a ‘pop-up’ basis, the event  line-up changes each time allowing the eclectic team of Chefs the opportunity to cook together outside of their own restaurants.

Food for Thought was founded by Daniel Hannigan, inspired by his personal experience of losing his own Father to suicide at the age of 5.

Daniel believes that food is a powerful uniting force and that by sitting and eating together, we're afforded an opportunity to share much more than a meal.  Dan believes in the spirit of Food for Thought to remind us all that there's no burden that can't be lessened by sharing it with friends.

Tickets for the event will go on sale at 10am on Friday, April 19th on EventBrite at a cost of €100pp (ex wine) including a pre-dinner drinks reception.  Venue is Charlotte Quay.  Follow Food For Thought on Eventbrite to make sure you don't miss out on booking your ticket!
