Huge gaps in Mental Health Services and Supports in this country are costing lives everyday. Children and adults who are struggling with mental health or feeling suicidal deserve better. We need appropriate 24/7 mental health services. Mental Health Warriors have organised a Protest March for Better Mental Health Services taking place on 16 October.
Together with bereaved families and other groups, they will march from The Garden of Remembrance in Dublin to Leinster House to highlight the need for 24/7 mental health services and to call for an increase in the budget for mental health.
Families who have lost someone to suicide fight daily to raise awareness of the issue and to help prevent other families going through the same pain as theirs.
You can help them to put a face on suicide. Add your voice to the call. Protest for Better Mental Health. Join Mental Health Warriors at 12 noon on 16 October at the Garden of Remembrance D1, arriving at Leinster House 1pm.
