Food for Thought is a series of dinners bringing together some of the country’s top chefs to showcase their talents whilst raising funds for the 3Ts suicide charity. The initiative was started up by Daniel Hannigan, pictured below, sous chef at Dublin’s Richmond restaurant. Daniel lost his own father to suicide when he was just five years old.
The next six-course FFT dinner is on September 24 in Mulberry Garden, Donnybrook, Dublin 4. A star-studded line-up of chefs – Ciaran Sweeney (Forest & Marcy), Aoife Noonan (Glovers Alley), Killian Crowley (Aniar), Damien Grey (Heron & Grey), Patrick Ryan (Firehouse Bakery), will join Daniel at the stove to cook up what promises to be a very special meal for a very special evening.
To date, Daniel and his team have raised around €10,000 for suicide prevention.
