To Blog or not to Blog? That is the Question….
The Answer? Welcome to the 3Ts Blog!
We’re a small Irish suicide prevention charity with big ideas and plenty to say, so we’re taking our first steps into the Blogosphere to share with you some of our news, views & experiences as we work to help reduce deaths by suicide in Ireland.
Some of you may be familiar with our postings & musings on social media and now, through our Blog, we aim to bring together lots more interesting bits & pieces to provide food for thought on positive mental health and suicide prevention in Ireland & abroad.
Collaboration is our theme for 2014, so we’ll be hearing from friends & experts across a range of topics, with monthly contributions from Guest contributors who we know will bring something special to our readers. We hope to provide a 360 perspective on mental health & suicide, and more importantly just what these issues mean to Irish people and Irish society today.
3Ts Blog will reflect our holistic approach to mental health, as we cover topics related to general health & well-being too, along with the odd rant & rave about gaps in services, lack of funding or Government inertia on suicide prevention (well, where would 3Ts be if we didn’t rattle cages every now & again!).
If you’d like to add your voice to the debate, we’d love to hear from you too, so follow us on Facebook or Twitter or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Just make sure you drop in (and tell your friends too!).
Oh, and speaking of collaboration, a big thanks to digital consultancy, Arekibo, our digital partners who set up our new Blog. In recent years, 3Ts supporters Arekibo designed and developed the 3Ts website, generously donating expertise and time to help us navigate and find our own online space and voice. So well done and thanks again to Martin Casey, John Cross & the development team for your hard work and great ideas.
