3 June 2018: VHI Womens Mini Marathon: Walk, Run or Jog in aid of 3Ts

Our thanks to all who signed up for this year’s Mini Marathon and chose to raise funds for 3Ts

Over 1 million women have participated in the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon over the past 35 years.  Online entry for this year’s race is open from 7 March, so plenty of time to register for this year’s race, get yourself prepared, get motivated and get your 3Ts sponsorship pack! 

The VHI Women’s Mini-Marathon takes place the June Bank Holiday Weekend next and is the world’s largest single start race, with 40,000 participants annually, pounding the streets of Dublin – all of them women.  We’d like to see as many 3Ts supporters out there in our LOVELY 3Ts t-shirts & singlets, and use the opportunity to raise sponsorship to support the 3Ts charity.

The race is solely for women but open to all levels and that helps to make this event unique.   All interested athletes are welcome, and of all abilities, from international competitors, to those walking alone or in groups, some who are there purely to enjoy the atmosphere or others for whom raising funds for their favourite charity is the priority.  Familiar faces from TV & film all add to the fun of the event.

This is an opportunity to come together with other women of all ages and abilities, and to be a part of one of one of the highlights of the Irish sporting calendar.

  • Bands and dancers provide entertainment to add to the carnival atmosphere of the day.
  • Women of every age, every size and every walk of life take part – while the majority would be in the 25 to 45 age brackets, in recent years there are an increasing number of participants over 70 years of age!
